The Evergreen Line is a new SkyTrain line that will connect Coquitlam to Vancouver via Port Moody and Burnaby. The Evergreen Line will connect without transfer to the current SkyTrain network at Lougheed Town Centre Station and will integrate with regional bus and West Coast Express networks.
There are a total of 7 stations and 11 kilometers of guideway. The 6 kilometers of elevated guideway consists of steel box girders, precast segmental girders, precast concrete I-girders with a CIP deck and precast trapezoidal beams with a Cast-In-Place concrete deck. The 3 kilometers of at-grade guideway consists of SMX or MSE wall supported CIP Guideway. The 2 kilometer tunnel is a segmental bored tunnel with CIP cut & cover transition sections at both ends.
The presentation included an Evergreen Project Overview, new MoT Seismic Requirements, DBC Technical Director's View of PPP, and Evergreen design/construction issues.
